Engine SKF50 ( DRILLING ) Low Power

In June 2008 there was phenomenon of engine low power but it was occurred in several seconds.
Since August 2008 the frequency of engine low power increased a long time.

Next Look at :
1. Engine Speed 1204 at Low Idle.

2. It was taken when the engine was on low idle. Number 5 injector was cutting out. The engine speed was similar with the engine speed in normal condition.

3. The graph was taken when engine was being in rated speed.
Suddenly FRC Fuel Limit goes down so engine being low power.

4. There is no any problem with continuity of injector number 5 solenoid (1.2 ohm).

From the data number 1 and 2 we know that injector number 5 is malfunction. By using data number 4 we can decide there is no any problem with the electrical.We'have hypothesis that say there are worning out in mechanical system of injector's plunger. For proving it we can't disassembly the injector because of remanufacturing procedure.
